Estudio de las posibilidades analíticas del electroanálisis avanzado, tecnologías lab-on-a-chip y nanotecnologías analíticas en el ámbito del análisis clínico y agroalimentario. Diseño y desarrollo de microchips analíticos como plataformas sensoras, como sistemas para análisis por inyección en flujo y como sistemas de electroforesis capilar empleando nuevos detectores electroquímicos basados en el empleo de nanopartículas metálicas, nanotubos de carbono y nanohilos
